ON A PERSONAL NOTE:

Upon signing with Black Pearl Books Publishers in July 05, 2005, they required that re-prints of the same novel in its current title as "Destiny" to end immediately. That was understandable! However when this agreement was made they stated that if I signed with them (BPB), my novel would be re-released as early as October 2005, "90 days later". That never happened!

In December and January BPB...released my novel to the public for pre-order, and promised to have copies of my novel in my hand on or before February 28, 2006. The book cover, synopsis, new ISBN numbers were posted on several websites with a release date for March of 2006, and it was made available for purchase to the public immediately! That date too came to pass without being honored! BPB never even sent my novel to the printer press!

Late April 2006, I got a copy of my manuscript, asking for my final layout approval! This clearly proved to me that they will not honor publishing dates and did not honor my publishing date even after making a public announcement, and putting it on Amazon, Barnes-N-Nobel, and several others for pre-order! Today they will not return phone-calls, respond to certified letters, or even answer their phones for the past two and one half months! Authors such as Brenda Hampton, Rhonda Swan, Rahsaan Ali, Darrin Lowery, Tia Hines, Curtis Alcutt, Cindy Cox and several others has came forward and admitted that BPB has not honored their contracts either when they failed to pay royalties owed to them that are now almost three months past due. BPB has also failed to answer or return any of their phone calls too.

I’m very disappointed in Black Pearl Books Publishing! "Black on Black Crime!" We need you the public to help. Please stop supporting this so call "Slavery" as they referred to one of their Authors. We the "slaves" worked to hard to be abused, ignored and taken advantage of!
